Reactable mobile for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

The creators of the great Reactable multi touch music interface released a mobile version of their software for IPhone/IPod and IPad.

The original Reactable hardware is running software sided with reacTIVision an “an open source, cross-platform computer vision framework for the fast and robust tracking of fiducial markers attached onto physical objects, as well as for multi-touch finger tracking. It was mainly designed as a toolkit for the rapid development of table-based tangible user interfaces (TUI) and multi-touch interactive surfaces.”
More info here:

reacTIVision itself makes use of the TUIO protocol an open framework that defines a common protocol and API for tangible multitouch surfaces:

Audio CD: Teebs: Ardour

This is really good “background” music to work with in a good way. Although one might expect it on like Warp, it’s got released on the rather unknown label Brainfeeder. It’s said the guy shared an apartment building with mentors Flying Lotus and Samiyam, so expect something similar, even better. Chilled (although I hate that word) music.

Flash sync via Local Connection (LC)

Who ever had to do some (boring) banners maybe had some trouble with the “Local Connection” you sometimes need to sync two banners. Sounds quite simple, but it’s some kind of science, when you want to have a “reals stabile” sync connection between two swfs, in every browser (on mac) and with several browser windows open.

Roman Hippler has created a solution for this, which worked very well for my right now on everything I tested it. A shame it’s AS 2.0 … somebody (me ??? 😉 ) should translate this to AS 3.0 Code …

Hello world!

Welcome to

Thank you WordPress … okay, another blog … uah …

As a geek, or part time geek, I thought it was about time to start my own blog.
Don’t expect anything real genuine happening here, I will use it more or less as a collection of informations I am in to, to not forget them or to use it in the future. If you share the same interests: Flash-Programming, new Interfaces, Sound design, Music, maybe it will be interesting for you too.
